So, time for a little update. The image above is the connection gesture, by the way, just in case people fail to understand the concept. In essence, that physical connection, is E. But its greatest power will come from our online service, which we demo’ed at the MediaGuild Next Level event earlier this week. We got on stage to give a keynote speech about our progress and were very pleased to have been able to receive so many parties interested in our product. We’ve booked a lot of progress over the past couple of weeks. For starters, we have a lovely functional UI on the service, integration with some great social networks and collaborations on the way. Most progress has been booked with E’s financial side however. All we can disclose for now is that we are in talks with several parties, and things are looking good. Have a look at our Flickr for a peak at the event. Haas‘ Berend also went up on stage, as well as Made By Sofa’s Dirk (of Versions, Disco and Checkout fame. Apple Design Award, anyone?). We’ve been fans of their work for a long time now. It was great to meet Dirk and everyone else who came to see us. Cheers! More pics after the click.
We got interviewed by Amsterdam-based TV channel AT5 the other day. They didn’t get all the facts right, but it was a fun interview either way. It’s in Dutch only, but at least you’ll be able to to get a preview of the new UI and take a look inside our studio and workshop. They didn’t show all the cool machinery we have here to build our prototypes like the 3d printers and laser cutters.
Some of E’s new features and exclusive sneak peak at the UI will be presented at an event held in Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam next week. If you want to drop by, leave your contact info and we’ll put you on the list. Here’s the details:

We got interviewed the other day by Ernst-Jan of Next Web and Spotlighteffect fame the other day. It was a fun article, giving us the possibility to talk a little bit more about E’s philosophy. We’re avid Next Web readers, and had the pleasure to meet the staff during this year’s Next Web Conference. We even got Ernst-Jan to pose with one of our early prototypes, the cool guy he is.
